Round 2 for Future Kings & Queens, "Rhapsodies & Requiems" is the second masterpiece from Dickie (ex Jupiter Blue). Dickie never seems to have any difficulty reinventing himself, while still staying true to the sounds his fans that have come to cherish and covet as the most valued CD's in their collections. The latest release blesses us with another 12 stunningly brilliant tracks, wrought with Dickies amazingly diverse and unique vocal talents, cunning lyrics, and increadibly exciting synth styles. Yet another CD worthy of your "repeat all" button, you know the one, the button that you can still read the letters as if you just removed the remote from it's wrapper, yeah that one. From start to finish, and round again round again, the fresh, yet fan loyal style, is apparent from Dickie on every track. Truly, a must for any of Dickie's fans, and a must try, for any connoisseur of synth style music. Obviously, Dickie doesn\'t know the meaning of "hum drum" or "same 'ol" and we pray he never will. Hats off, aww heck, just take it all off, for "Rhapsodies & Requiems", destined to be the next electronic classic from Dickie.

Dickie does not get enough credit.
His first album, "The Day the World Died," fused a host of musical styles together to create something unlike everything else that's out there at the moment. His intelligent and poetic lyrics combined with his throw-back look-forward style of music made for a great listen.
Now he's back (and relatively quickly at that) with Requiems...and he does not disappoint. Dickie turns up everything on this album, especially the synths and the tempos to create another album that has it all. He's still smart, still melodic, and now he shows that he can make you dance too. If you liked "The Day...," you'll love "Requiems..." because it's got everything you want... and more!
