If you remember the first time you heard "Rio" or perhaps "Disintegration" don't vex yourself over days gone by... Tap in to Future Kings & Queens the new studio project from L.A.’s own Dickie and his debut release "The Day The World Died". Weaving techno, electronic new wave synth with mesmeric lyrics, Dickie is more than just a one man band, he is a glow stick, with a less noisy, pop sound that simultaneously gives the listener a new and original resonance while paying homage to the predecessors of British new wave. The final result is a catchy collection of 14 tracks that give the listener a fresh spin and a desire to hear what happens next. To give you a preview, plans are underway to shoot an accompanying video, and Dickie is working on his next CD with a target release date of April 1, 2009 (his intention is to release an album every year on that date). If " The Day The World Died " is any foreshadowing , mark your calendars now and make room for your future collection o' Future Kings & Queens

Jupiter Blue fans rejoice at the birth of the next electronic synth sensation, Future Kings & Queens. The next brainchild of Dickie (ex Jupiter Blue guru), Future Kings & Queens has it's first release "The Day The World Died," a beautiful, eclectic, and fresh synth resurrection of the Jupiter Blue phenomenon we've all grown to know and love. Those true J.B. fans will love to hear that Dickie is alive and well blessing us with his newest and best work to date. Featuring 15 tracks (including 1 bonus track) with those upbeat, innovative, synth sounds we come to expect from Dickie, his familiar trademark quality and emotional, yet BFF sounding vocals, and top it off with his thought provoking, poetic lyrics, well, what more can we say other than it's a digital Rembrandt. This is definitely one that will allow you to use that one, curiously and rarely touched button on your remote, "repeat all."
