NOTES >
After 2 years of performing in Chicago, Plastic Princess finally realized hat they needed something for people to listen to when they weren't watching them frolic about onstage. The band's friend Don Bodin had recently started Baby Factory Records and released a fake motion picture soundtrack featuring some of Chicago's finest bands, including Kill Hannah, Teenage Frames, and File Underwater. Plastic Princess also contributed 3 tracks. Don then helped to organize PP's own CD, "Haberdashery."
PP tracked 2 songs ("Porno Engine" and "Regretting Summer") at Velvet Shirt Studios with Hideki Owa (pictured left) laying down the guitars. Drums & bass for the remaining songs were recorded in Amy's basement, and they polished off the guitars and vocals at underwater and Pentagon Studios. Hideki also did the CD artwork. |
