Piano

A showcase of work featuring the piano as the primary melodic instrument. I tend to use piano as both my main writing tool and to carry dark and emotional pieces. It was, after all, my first instrument.

Demos from the Disney-style musical stage production "Hypnotica," for which I composed and performed all music and lyrics. Recorded in 2003, these laid out vocal parts for 2 male and 2 female singers as well as the full musical score and were tracked only with sounds from a Yamaha Motif keyboard (before I acquired better sample libraries). Forgive my humble attempt to perform all 4 parts in their respective ranges - these were, after all, only demos. Enjoyment for all ages..

A familiar favorite I used to try out EastWest's Symphonic Orchestra library. Not much attention to detail here, just an exercise on picking out parts by ear from the original and reproducing them with samples.
